I Think I Got Carried Away…

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope all of you enjoyed your weekend (I know I did!). 🙂

Usually, Mondays are super rough for me. I typically have the hardest time coming off of a weekend, but today really surprised me. Instead of moping around with the Monday blues, I’ve had TONS of energy. Thank you, new diet.

In addition to feeling really good about starting a brand new week, I felt particularly inspired to try something new. What better way to experiment in life than in the kitchen?

Saying Hello To My New Diet

In the great words of Shakespeare’s Juliet, “Parting is such sweet sorrow that I shall say goodnight till it be morrow.”

This week, I’ve said goodbye to many foods and drinks. Some were old favorites that I will surely miss, but most were items that I’ve been meaning to eliminate from my diet for quite awhile. 

As much as I’ve tried to avoid giving certain foods their pink slips, I have finally come to the conclusion that their dismissal is a critical, unavoidable step to creating the body I desire.
