This One Product Changed My Life.

Back and neck pain is the worst. Unfortunately, I tend to experience both quite often.

Due to me generally being a big ball of stress and having frequent bouts of pain from fibromyalgia, I have spent countless days doubled over in agony stemming from sore, tight muscles.

As many of you may know, muscle tightness can really put a damper on your day, contributing to unpleasantries such as lowered mood, tension headaches, pain, decreased flexibility, limited range of movement, and poor sleep quality. If you have a job or partake in activities that put additional strain on your muscles, you may find it increasingly difficult to find relief.

If you’re like me and you frequently suffer from muscle knots and soreness, today’s post is for you. I’m going to share the one product that completely changed my life for the better. Hopefully, it can help change yours too!

When it comes to pain management, there are countless options available to those of us who find ourselves tense and bothered. You could always turn to over-the-counter pain relievers and topical creams, but those aren’t always the best option if you’re looking for an all natural solution.

Besides, these methods rarely do much in the way of attacking the soreness at the root.

After unsuccessfully wrestling with neck and back pain for years, I was absolutely exasperated. I had tried so many different tricks and methods in an effort to have at least one pain-free day, yet nothing seemed to really do the trick. Although products such as foam rollers and massage balls helped somewhat, it always seemed as though my muscles needed a deeper, slightly more aggressive massage in order to really sort out the problem.

By the end of 2018, I had had just about enough. Nothing I was doing yielded the results I desired, yet I had completely run out of viable options. It seemed as though a visit to a professional masseuse was in order, but at the rate I was going, I would have needed several spa appointments a week! Not only would that have been time consuming, but quite costly as well.

I knew I needed to come up with a lasting solution… and fast.

One day, while browsing on Amazon, I randomly decided to take a look at some of the deep tissue massagers. You know, because I’m obsessed with Amazon, spend 80% of my disposable income on Amazon, and can usually be found on the app ordering EVERYTHING like:

Yeah… I need help. 😅

Anyhow, a year or two prior to this, I had purchased an awesome percussion massager that works knots out like a champ (just comment down below if you’d like to hear about that one).

While it has its definite strengths, it is not ideally designed for people to use by themselves, depending on the muscle group you are trying to hit. Besides, it was far too strong to safely utilize on the neck, which was something I desperately needed at the time.

Long story short, I ended up buying a Shiatsu massager that I absolutely loved. It worked really well and it did a great job releasing the tension that had built up in my neck. However, the love affair didn’t last long. Not more than two months later, it suddenly died on me. I guess it’d had enough of my abuse. 😂

Upon returning the defective item, I knew that I had to buy a replacement massager. Even though the specific product I had purchased was clearly a dud, the general construction and functionality of the massager had been perfect. That’s when I decided to buy a similar massager from a different brand.

Best. Decision. Ever.

Nektek’s Back, Neck, and Shoulder Massager is one of the best purchases I’ve made in my entire life. It literally turns everyday into a spa day.

For less than a one-hour professional massage (this model is $45.99 as of 4/17/19), it has paid for itself countless times over. Not only has it lasted longer than two months (shade 😏), but it works so much better than the first massager I purchased. It was also $30 cheaper! I couldn’t be happier. 💁🏽‍♀️

I love so many things about this massager; it is hard to know where to begin. However, the most important thing is that it actually works.

With armrests and eight heated massage heads, this massager has made it incredibly easy for me to take full control of the positioning and degree of pressure. Whether I’m propped up in bed or seated in my favorite chair, I no longer have trouble reaching the areas that hurt most.

And best of all, it massages my neck and shoulders like a dream; I never want to turn it off.

Speaking of things turning off, another feature I enjoy about this massager is its auto shut off feature. It automatically turns itself off after 15 minutes of use, which ensures that you don’t overwork your muscles.

It also protects against overheating, just in case you accidentally fall asleep mid-massage, which is highly possible with this thing. The relaxation this massager delivers is unreal! Each time I use it (which is usually everyday), I end up spending the rest of the day looking like:

What I love most about this massager is how realistically effective it is. It truly reminds me of getting a real massage thanks to its awesome kneading movements. You can allow it to change direction on its own, or select the direction you like best with just a push of a button. And with three speeds, I always enjoy being able to instantly control the intensity of my massage. You could never do that with a real masseuse!

Did I mention that this massager works great on the back of your legs as well?

From doing incline on the treadmill to busting out squats, many of my workouts leave my leg muscles feeling super sore—especially my hamstrings! The day after a challenging workout used to be beyond painful, but now that I’ve started using this on my legs post-workout, my muscles recover so much faster and hurt far less the next day.

If you are someone who deals with a lot of neck, shoulder, or back pain, I highly recommend this massager. But even if you don’t particularly have issues with these areas and you’re simply looking for an effective and economical way to unwind after a long day or workout, try this out!

Although this massager isn’t wireless, the six-foot charging cord and car charger allow you to find relaxation wherever and whenever you need it most, so you could use it at home, at work, or even travel with it! I am almost positive that this little gadget will completely revolutionize the way you relax. You may even start sleeping better! 😴

For the record, this is NOT a paid post nor do I have any affiliate links in this post. I will not benefit from promoting this massager in any way, aside from hoping some of you try it out and are helped by it like I was.

Before I got ahold on this massager, I was constantly in pain, with no means of actually taking care of the problem. Even on days when my muscles weren’t a problem, I would always worry about the next time they would. It started to seem as though everything and anything could lead to tension:

A tough workout.

Sleeping in the wrong position.

Sitting at a desk all day.

Breathing… 😆

Being able to take preventative measures against muscle pain has made the world of difference, allowing me to spend more time actually enjoying life and the things I love doing most. I sincerely hope this helps someone else be able to do the same!

If you end up trying this massager out, please do come back to drop me a line about how it worked out for you! I’d love to hear your own thoughts! ❤️
